Mudcrutch es una banda que a pesar de haberse formado en los 70s hasta este 2008 cuenta con su primer disco homonimo.
La banda es un proyecto de Tom Petty y Tom Leadon quienes habían tocado juntos en los 70s en una banda llamada The Epics.
Esta banda se caracteriza por sonar de una forma muy cruda como debe ser el rock.
