Martin Newell (nascido em 1953), também conhecido como "o homem selvagem de Wivenhoe", é um músico de rock Inglês, cantor, guitarrista, compositor, poeta e escritor. Ele cresceu em uma família do exército em várias partes da Inglaterra e do Extremo Oriente. Sua música é pop, de guitarra estridente e otimista.
