The Latency is a pop rock band from Maple Ridge, BC. They formed in 2006 from the remains of three previous bands. They have since signed to Maple Music and are set to release their debut full length on September 8th, 2009.
The Latency was originally a three piece. Ryan Stead (guitar) and Mathew Gendron (bass) approached Brandon Lehti (vocals) about starting The Latency after their previous band dismembered. They were attracted to the singer's impressive vocal skills while playing a local show together in 2006.
