Biografia:
Entre su fundación en 1981 y su disolución siete años más tarde, Minimal Compact desempeñó un papel crucial en la escena de rock europeo. Malka Spigel (bajo, vocal), Samy Birnbach (vocal, textos,actualmente conocido como DJ Morpheus ) y Berry Sakharof (guitarras, teclados, vocal) dejaron su Tel-Aviv natal en 1981 por Ámsterdam porque en el Tel-Aviv ortodoxo de la época se sintieron bastante marginados. Del trío, sólo Berry era "un verdadero" músico. Malka "aprendía a jugar con el bajo", mientras Samy era mejor conocido como un DJ.
