Vindo das montanhas Catskill do norte do estado de Nova Iorque, The Felice Brothers mistura folk, americana e roots rock revivalista em um som unicamente térreo. Ian, Simone e James Felice cresceram no Hudson River Valley, várias milhas distantes da aldeia musical de Woodstock. Tais ícones como Bob Dylan e The Band outrora encontraram inspiração na região, e os jovens Felice foram guiados por uma musa similar, reunindo-se a cada tarde de domingo para sessões musicais e refeições na casa de seus pais.
