Biografia:
The Dodos é uma banda de indie / folk de San Francisco, California, formada por Meric Long (vocais e violão) e Logan Kroeber (bateria). O terceiro membro dos Dodos é Joe Haener, que toca teclado e xylophone. Suas músicas costumam ser definidas como "folk psicadélico".
Meric Long já havia lançado um EP solo, "Dodo Bird", quando conheceu Logan Kroeber em 2006 e os dois formaram a banda, a princípio com o nome de Dodo Bird. O primeiro álbum deles, "Beware of the Maniacs" foi lançado ainda em 2006.
