*Note* This is what I heard, then played along with a live version, and then played
with the recorded version, being in perfect harmony both times. I still don't know how
this is, but it's a step up from all the others, which are just plain WRONG!
*Note* when played live, the song starts with an intro of strums in a pattern like this:
A A - E E E - F#m F#m F#m - D D D - A A A which then leads into the intro drum fill and
song starts as usual
Intro: A E F#m D A E D
Verse:
A E
Oh I love (Oh I love) Oh I love
F#m
What you do to my head
D
When you pull me upstairs
A
And you push me to bed.
E
I love what you do to my head.
D
It’s a mess up there
Repeat for second verse, bridge, and third and fourth verses
Chorus:
G
You’re the only one I cry for
D
The only one I try to please.
G
You’re the only one I sigh for
D
The only one I die to squeeze.
C
And it gets better everyday,
D
I play with you it’s such a scream.
C
Yeah it gets better everyday, I say
D
With you it’s so extreme.
C
Yeah it gets wetter everyday, I stay
D
With you it’s like a dream.
repeat verse three times
repeat chorus
A E
Oh I love, oh i love, oh I love
What you do to me.
*Note* when played live, the E chord is replaced with repetive down strokes on all open
The line "Oh I love" is repeated several times in time with the strokes, each time
up into more of a shout, until the line "what you do to me", which is simply spoken.
