At a time when the British invasion and folk rock were culturally dominant, Fuller stuck to Buddy Holly's style of classic rock and roll with Tex Mex flourishes. His recordings reveal the influence of Eddie Cochran, the Beatles, Elvis Presley, Little Richard and the Everly Brothers in cover recordings and original compositions, as well as instrumental surf guitar. Less well known was Fuller's ability to emulate the reverb-laden surf guitar sounds of Dick Dale and the Ventures.

D#C# theres something about your smile G#B i swear that it makes me weak and when i'm close to you i find that it's hard to speak i act like a child of six and i guess that it shows to well that you got the magic touch and i'm caught in your spell
you never convinced me that i'd be great but of petite size but something happens when i look into your eyes i try to defend myself but to late that i finally see you've got the magic touch and you cast your spell on me
yeah yeah - they call it magic baby yeah yeah - it's more like tragic baby
BbBbB will i surrender to this fate ? C#m is there no sidedoors to escape
that look that you wear so well is enough to make me melt i suddenly find myself in things i've never felt no use in denying when a child can clearly tell that you got the magic touch and i'm caught in your spell
yeah yeah - they call it magic baby yeah yeah - it's more like tragic baby
