Biografia:
É uma banda norte-americana de Rock formada em Sacramento, Califórnia, em 1984. A princípio se chamava "City Kidd" começando a se formar com Frank, Brian e Jeff. Quase todos eram de Sacramento e assim que formaram a banda abandonaram a cidade.
O nome Tesla foi dado em homenagem ao cientista Nikola Tesla, a idéia foi do vocalista e fundador Jeff Keith. A banda era completada por Tommy Skeoch (guitar, vocals), Frank Hannon (guitar, keyboards, vocals), Brian Wheat (bass) e Troy Lucketta (Drums).
