Biografia:
Banda de folk rock formada na Escócia no início da década de 1970 por dois colegas de escola, Joe Egan e Gerry Rafferty, que se juntaram à Roger Brown (vocal), Rab Noakes (guitarras e vocal) e Ian Campbell (baixo).
Trabalharam juntos até 1972, sendo considerados o "Croby,Stills, Nash & Young" da Inglaterra, porém, meses antes de assinarem contrato com a A&M Records, Brown, Noakes e Campbell foram substituidos por Paul Pilnik ( Guitarras), Tony Williams (baixo) e Rod Coombes (bateria).
