Biografia:
O Simply Red foi formado em 1984, pelo vocalista Mick Hucknall, em Manchester, Inglaterra. Em 24 anos de carreira, a banda vendeu mais de 45 milhões de discos. Mick foi abandonado pela mãe aos 6 anos de idade e, no final dos anos 70, conseguiu mudar sua vida e conhecer o sucesso com a banda punk, “Frantic Elevators”. Sua primeira canção de sucesso foi “Holding Back The Years”, que falava da saudade que ele sentia de sua mãe, composta aos 17 anos.
