Biografia:
M. Ward é o nome artístico do cantor/compositor americano Matt Ward.
Ward fazia parte da banda Rodriguez, que lançou o disco Swing Like a Metronome em 2000. Duet for Guitars #2 foi o primeiro disco de Ward como artista solo, lançado por Howe Gelb através do seu selo Ow Om. O disco de 2001, End of Amnesia, foi lançado pela Future Farmer Record e seus álbums subsequentes pela Merge Records. Uma coleânia de gravações ao vivo, Live Music & The Voices of Strangers, foi um disco independente que era vendido durante os shows.
