Cantora, compositora e pianista norte-americana nascida em Newton, Carolina do Norte, Estados Unidos, no dia 22 de agosto de 1963. É casada com Mark Hawley e juntos o casal têm uma filha, Natashya "Tash" Lórien Hawley, nascida em 5 de setembro de 2000.
Amos esteve à frente de um grupo de cantoras e compositoras no começo da década de 90, sendo digna de nota, no começo da sua carreira
