Biografia:
Tommy James (nascido Thomas Gregory Jackson, 29 de Abril de 1947, Dayton, Ohio) é um cantor, músico, letrista e produtor norte-americano.
Em 1958 aos onze anos, a família de Tommy se mudou para Niles, Michigan. Aos doze anos, formou sua primeira banda, chanada Tom and the Tornadoes. In 1963, mudaram o nome para The Shondells.
Tommy James and The Shondells se separaram em 1970. Tommy seguiu carreira solo, e alcançou as paradas novamente com "Draggin' the Line" (4º lugar em 1971) e "Three Times In Love" (19º lugar em 1980).
