Note that the band tunes a half-step down for live performances.
***** The D is actually a Dadd9add11 (Ultimate Guitar didn't like that).
Just play an open C slid up two frets, meanwhile the G6 is an open C shape rooted on G.
This is Graham's rythym guitar part. Josh plays the same chords in Verse 1, except instead
of the G6 he plays a standard open G (I use standard G because it sounds more full when playing alone).
Josh's solo is based off the verse melody. For reference, I start on the twelfth fret of the B string,
up to the twelfth fret of the E string, then down to the tenth fret of the E string, and work off of that.
[Verse 1]
D
I've been low
I've been down

D
Oh babe, they're gonna tell us
What we can and cannot do
Am G6
Babe, they're gonna feed us to the fire

D
Oh, no one's gonna tell us who we will and will not be
Am G6
No one's gonna show us to the door
D
'Cause I've been low
And I've been down
Am G6
And I don't want to go there anymore
