Liam James Payne, mais conhecido como Liam Payne é um cantor e compositor inglês. Nascido em 29 de agosto de 1993 em Wolverhampton, Inglaterra, Payne foi um estudante de tecnologia da música na City of Wolverhampton College.
Filho de Geoff e Karen Payne, Liam fez sua audição para o The X Factor em 2008, e Simon Cowell o eliminou na segunda etapa do programa, já que ele acreditava que ele era muito jovem. Cowell então, pediu-lhe para voltar a fazer a audição quando fosse maior.
