Biografia:
Em dezembro de 2000, Alden Penner e Nicholas Thorburn criaram o The Unicorns. A dupla, que se revezava nos instrumentos, virou um trio exatos três anos depois, com a entrada do baterista Jamie Thompson. Os integrantes também eram conhecidos por seus nomes de unicórnio (nomes artísticos): Nick/Neil Diamonds, Alden Ginger (a noiva de Elvis Presley se chamava Ginger Alden) e J’aime Tambour (que soa como “amo tambor”, em francês).
