the live intro/riff sounds a little different, because live, they play it with a B
shape chord when they slide so and it adds a little extra ring to the B string that can
sound a bit shrilly and off, but still correct.
Regardless of how you choose to play it, I find it easier to play c and D power chords
when sliding and
throughout the song in general, and also because it sounds more like the record.
One thing that is played with the B chord shape is the last c in the Pre-chorus, which I
will mark with a
star. This extra note is to create contrast from the other c in the Pre-chorus, and it
sounds better when you build it up to the chorus.
