Biografia:
LCD Soundsystem foi o projeto musical do produtor James Murphy, também co-criador do selo de dance punk, o DFA. A sonoridade da banda pode ser descrita como uma mistura de música eletrônica e punk rock, além de alguns elementos de disco music e outros estilos.
A banda ganhou a atenção com seu primeiro single, "Losing My Edge", de 2001. Mais tarde, Murphy lança um álbum duplo auto-intitulado em Fevereiro de 2005, ganhando aclame da crítica especializada.
