Biografia:
The Seatbelts foi uma banda formada e liderada por Yoko Kanno com a finalidade de gravar a trilha sonora do anime Cowboy Bebop. Trata-se na verdade de menos que uma "banda" no sentido estrito do termo, e sim de uma equipe reunida especialmente para um projeto (como outrora aconteceu com This Mortal Coil e UNKLE). Os músicos vieram do Japão, Nova York e Paris, isso sem incluir os vocalistas convidados. Entre os músicos notáveis que contribuíram no Seatbelts: Steve Conte, Bill Stewart, Al Foster, Stanley Clarke e Gary Bartz.
