The Rolling Stones é uma das mais notórias bandas de rock de todos os tempos, tendo realizado seu primeiro show em 12 de julho de 1962, no Marquee Club, em Londres, e que está entre as bandas mais antigas ainda em atividade. Ao lado dos Beatles, The Who e The Kinks, foi uma das bandas mais importantes da chamada Invasão Britânica ocorrida nos anos 60, que adicionou diversos artistas ingleses nas paradas norte-americanas.
