Biografia:
John Alec Entwistle (9 de outubro de 1944 - 27 de junho de 2002) foi baixista da banda de rock britânica The Who. Ele é considerado um dos melhores e mais influentes baixistas de todos os tempos, criador de um som base agressivo que influenciou várias gerações de músicos.
Entwistle nasceu em Chiswick, subúrbio de Londres. No começo dos anos 60 ele passou a se apresentar em vários grupos de jazz e dixieland com seu colega de escola Pete Townshend, posteriormente entrando para a banda The Detours, de Roger Daltrey.
