Biografia:
Giovanni Dominico Scafone Jr. nace en 1936 en Windsor, Ontario (Canada), pero se cría en Detroit. En 1957 comienza a tocar con estilos country y rockabilly, sin obtener gran éxito. Entre 1958-60 obtiene sus grandes éxitos country. En los años 60 al producirse la invasión de grupos ingleses, es un desconocido para el gran público. En los años 80 se reeditan sus discos y realiza varias giras por Europa.
