Biografia:
Iona é uma banda de rock progressivo celta inglês que foi formado em 1989 por Joanne Hogg, a vocalista, pelos muit-instrumentalistas David Fitzgerald and Dave Bainbridge.
A banda tem muitas influências e é uma grande mistura de ritmos que vai do jazz nos primeiros álbuns, ao new age em outros. A banda contou com a presença de Moya Brennan no album Journey into the morn, o mais new age dos discos.
A temática cristã está presente em todos os álbuns.
