After the breakup of Mazzy Star, vocalist Hope Sandoval joined with Colm O'Ciosoig (formerly of My Bloody Valentine) to form Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions. The project retained the laid-back, slowcore sound of Mazzy Star, and much like Mazzy Star, featured Sandoval's sensuous, hypnotic voice. However, it replaced the psychedelic leanings that Mazzy Star was known for with spare, subtle arrangements that reinforced Sandoval's gentle vocal style.
Quatro anos de trabalho duro!Neste mês de maio fizemos quatro anos no ar. Continuamos trabalhando na divulgação deste maravilhoso instrumento, obrigado por participar da nossa história!
The finger picked version shown neatly on the tabs here on UG is the best way to play this song, but here's chords for those that like them.
After the Dsus2 the finger picking hits a C# note on the A string before going to a Cmaj7 pattern, effectively a slow stepping between chords. So that's a Dsus2 with that C# note added which has several names, Dsus2/C# makes most sense here.
The lyrics I'm almost certain of except for "Safely unwounded". Hope doesn't make it easy!
Standard tuning, no capo.
