Grace Petrie Overheard From the Whatever's Left album.
Capo 2
It can be played without a capo, but the run down from G to C in the chorus is difficult to play without one
as it becomes A through A/g# to D.
The F# in the chorus and bridge is hard to make out: it may be a full chord, played as a bass in the Em
chord, or just as a bass note on its own.
The strumming pattern for the verses is:
1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &
||:u---------d-u-d|u---------d-u-d:||
For example:
1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 &
||:Em---------C-C-C|G---------C-C-C:||
As the song progresses more strums are put in in various ways, but keeping the &-4-&-1 beat.
