GG7 Oh Edmund you look so pleasant now CG Your clothes look neat and clean CG I haven't seen you drink a drop DG Pray tell me where you've been
GG7 Your wife and children, are they well? CG You used to treat them strange CG But are you kinder to them now? DG How came this happy change?
SOLO
GG7 I had a dream, a warning dream CG That heaven sent to me CG It warned me of a drunkard's curse DG Of woe and misery CG It warned me of a drunkard's curse DG And made a man of me
