Biografia:
O Fates Warning é uma banda estadunidense formada em 1983 em Hartford. O grupo é um dos fundadores do estilo que se convencionou chamar de metal progressivo.
O Fates Warning nasceu quando o baterista Steve Zimmermann e os guitarristas Jim Matheos e Victor Arduini, cansados de tocar covers, decidem montar uma banda para compor material próprio. Na fila de ingresso de um show do Black Sabbath os três conheceram Joe Dibiasi, que era cambista e ofereceu ao trio ingressos para o show.
