Biografia:
Nascido em Saltburn, Inglaterra no 22 de setembro de 1951. do Hard Rock, seu nome está associado aos maiores e melhores artistas do gênero.
Participou das bandas "Denver Mule" e "Skyliners" entre 1967 e 1968. David Coverdale ficou conhecido por substituir o vocalista Ian Gillan na banda Deep Purple, em meados dos anos 70. Após sair da banda e realizar alguns trabalhos solo, fundou o Whitesnake, grupo de hard rock que fez sucesso com os hits "Fool For Your Loving"
