Biografia:
Em 1996 Scooter Ward (vocalista), Sam McCandless (bateria), Jeremy Marshall (baixo) e Matt Loughran (guitarra) criaram a banda de post-grunge/metal alternativo Grundig na cidade Jacksonville. Na esperança de alcançarem sucesso mudaram-se para Atlanta e mudaram o nome da banda para Cold. Durante a estadia em Atlanta o guitarrista Matt Loughran deixou a banda e foi substituído por Sean Lay e mais tarde Kelly Hayes também se juntou à banda.
