Biografia:
Birth Control foram uma banda progressiva alemã formada em 1968, com Reinhold Sobotta (órgão), Bernd Koschmidder (baixo), Rolf Gurra (sax, vocais) e Egon Balder (bateria). O nome da banda foi uma reação contra a declaração do Papa, falando que os contraceptivos eram um pecado. Nos primeiros tempos eles fizeram algumas versões covers de instrumental jazz-rock de Brian Auger, Graham Bond, etc. Depois eles se expandiram com guitarras, vocais e trumpetes.
