Charles Arthur Russell, Jr. (21 de maio de 1951 - 04 de abril de 1992) foi um violoncelista americano, compositor, cantor e artista de disco music.
Encontrou maior sucesso na música de dança, a carreira de Russell foi uma ponte entre o centro do rock de Nova York, e as cenas de música de dança; seus colaboradores variaram de Philip Glass a David Byrne até Nicky Siano, o DJ do Studio 54.
Relativamente desconhecido durante sua vida, teve uma série de reedições e compilações resgatando seu perfil para a década de 2000.
