Biografia:
Fundada no ano de 2011 em Swords, Dublin, Kodaline é uma banda irlandesa composta por Steve Garrigan (vocal), Mark Prendergast (guitarra), Jason Boland (baixo) e Vinny May (bateria).
Inicialmente, sob o nome de “21 Demands” e contando com Conor Linnane como baixista, ao invés de Jason, eles participaram de um reality show irlandês chamado “You’re a Star” – reality musical, similar ao “X Factor” ou ao “American Idol” – no ano de 2007, sendo derrotados por David O’Connor na final do programa.

Where people seem to be going wrong is assuming the intro and verse chords are Em and Am
when they’re actually
Dmadd9, Fmaj7 and Am.

The guitar is tuned down half a step in the video and there are only glimpses of his
fretting hand but you can
see that the guitarist is definitely not playing Em.

As an alternative, I’ve been experimenting with playing the intro with Asus4 instead
of the repeat of Dmadd9, so
it looks like this :-
