Verse: D Have they put out all the fires yet F#mG now the celebration's done. GmDA I hope you'll come to see me before the summer's gone. EmA I thought I could do it but already I've had enough.
Verse: D The buildings they're so graceful here F#mG they barely touch the sky. GmDA Sometimes it's so quiet you can hear your neighbours cry. DF#mG I miss my messy circus street with music through the night. GmD I miss the times we'd stumble home A together in the morning light. F#mGD Oh my I wish that I had thought about this more EmA maybe then I'd be waking up behind familiar doors.
Chorus: G | ADD/C#Bm I must be blind. I must be out of my mind. GAD to think I'd come back and everything would change. GADD/C#Bm I must be so naïve that I forgot about the pain. GAD Here I am in trouble once again.
