Ingram Hill is a rock band from Memphis, Tennessee. In the summer of 2000, after attending the University of Memphis childhood friends Justin Moore (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) and Phil Bogard (lead guitar) joined with Shea Sowell (bass, background vocals) and Matt Chambless (drums) to form the band. They spent much of the next year and a half touring throughout the south and southeast. They played their first show August 23, 2000 in Oxford, Mississippi.
Quatro anos de trabalho duro!Neste mês de maio fizemos quatro anos no ar. Continuamos trabalhando na divulgação deste maravilhoso instrumento, obrigado por participar da nossa história!
Ok, so basically Justin plays four chords in this song, how ironic to the song title. I a clip from youtube.com from a segment of Live at 9 in Memphis, and you can watch and he four chords and Phil is playing the lead guitar.
A Mary came back in the middle of December
E With this guy that she never could remember
F#m She was always so hot in school
D And no one ever knew the difference
Play the A, E, F#m, D progression through the verses
At the end of the verses you play an E, D progression
ED I could never find
The Chorus is the same way: A, E, F#m, D progression
A Hurry up now its the middle of the story
E When the kid goes out in the blaze of glory
F#m Everything was crystal clear
D And we could never find
A You're a four letter word that I used to know
E Four letter word that I used to know
F#m You're a four letter word that I used to know
D Like hope, and pain, and Mary
Thats all, it seems right when I play it, for the strum pattern and beat of the song, go youtube.com and search Ingram Hill- Four Letter Word and click on the video of them at at 9 in Memphis... Give me some feedback
