Biografia:
Hole foi uma banda de rock alternativo formada em Los Angeles no ano de 1989 por Courtney Love.
A formação original contava com Courtney Love nos vocais e guitarra principal, Eric Erlandson na guitarra, Jill Emery no baixo e Caroline Rue na bateria. Em 1991, foi lançado o primeiro álbum da banda, "Pretty On The Inside", com uma sonoridade crua e pesada. Em 1993, Jill e Caroline deram lugar a Kristen Pfaff e Patty Schemel, lançando o segundo álbum da banda, "Live Through This", em 1994.
