Biografia:
Gwar é uma banda satírica de Thrash Metal formada em Richmond, Virginia em 1984. A banda é o resultado final de dois projetos diferentes que se fundiram em um. Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) era vocalista e baixista de uma banda punk chamada Death Piggy que encenava mini peças e usava adereços para ponutar suas músicas muitas vezes ridículas.
Um dia a Death Piggy conheceu Hunter Jackson (Techno Destructo) e Chuck Varga (Sexecutioner), que formavam a produtora "The Slave Pit"
