Biografia:

Guided By Voices foi uma banda de indie-rock americana formada em Dayton, Ohio. Desde o seu início, em 1983, a formação do grupo mudou muito, mas sempre manteve a presença do principal compositor Robert Pollard. O GBV se separou em 2004. Entre 2004 e 2011 a banda esteve inoperante. Nessa parada alguns de seus intregantes se envolveram e lançaram discos em outros projetos. No fim de 2011 o GBV se reuniu para um show em comemoração ao aniversário da Matador Rec. Em 2012 consolidaram o retorno com o lançamento de vasto material inédito.
