In the break, D is played in a somewhat abruptly manner with the use of a
distinct stroke. You can play the A and G chords barred and focus on only
strumming the bass notes of the chords. This is easier to play than the
lighter riff that is more notable on the record. In live versions I've
noticed that Tony Dekker plays it this way, and that Erik Arnesen typically
plays the riff.
