Biografia:
Gossip (anterioramente The Gossip) foi uma banda norte-americana, formada em 1999, em Searcy, Arkansas. Gossip pode ser definido como um grupo de pós-punk rock. A banda teve início com a amizade entre Brace Paine e Beth Ditto, quando ainda tinham 15 anos. Depois que conheceram o indie rock, se mudaram com Kathy Mendonça, a primeira baterista da banda, para o estado de Washington, onde começaram a tocar.
Ainda em 1999, a gravadora independente K Records lançou o primeiro EP do Gossip.
