Gomez é uma banda inglesa de indie rock, de Southport. O guitarrista e vocalista Ian Ball e o bateirista Olly Peacock já haviam tocado juntos em uma banda de heavy metal chamada Providence. Eles se juntaram ao guitarrista, vocalista e tecladista Tom Gray, ao baixista Paul Blackburn e ao vocalista e guitarrista Ben Ottewell (que estudava com Ball).
