Glen Hansard (nascido em 21 de Abril de 1970 em Dublin, Irlanda) é o ganhador do Oscar de Melhor Canção Original, compositor e vocalista/guitarrista de um grupo de rock irlandês chamado "The Frames".
Aos 13 anos, Hansard saia da escola para se apresentar em locais públicos por gorjetas nas ruas locais de Dublin. Ele ganhou sua primeira atenção pública como guitarrista Outspan Foster no filme de Alan Parker, "The Commitments". Em 2003, ele apresentou o programa de televisão "Other Voices: Songs from a Room"
