Biografia:
Banda de alternative rock dos Estados Unidos formada por Dave Grohl em 1995, após a dissolução de sua antiga banda, o Nirvana, um ícone do "som de Seattle" (vulgo "grunge"). Seu nome é uma referência ao termo "foo fighter", usado por aviadores na Segunda Guerra Mundial para descrever fenômenos aéreos misteriosos, também conhecidos por UFOs (em português, OVNIs).
A banda iniciou-se após a morte de Kurt Cobain, em 1994. Pouco depois, Dave grava seu primeiro disco
