Biografia:
Dinosaur Jr. é uma banda estado-unidense de rock alternativo formada em 1983 em Amherst, Massachusetts, por J Mascis junto com seu amigo Lou Barlow. Inicialmente não havia o "Jr." no nome. Mascis inicialmente tocava bateria no Dinosaur, mas mudou para função de guitarra quando Emmett Murph entrou no banda. Nos dois anos seguintes, a banda conquistou um pequeno público na sua cidade em 1985, o trio lançou o seu primeiro álbum, Dinosaur, pelo selo independente Homestead.
