1. "Eruption" foi formada em 1974 em Londres pela vocalista Precious Wilson, o guitarrista Greg Perrineau, o baixista Morgan Perrineau, o tecladista Gerry Williams eo baterista Eric Kingsley. Wilson nasceu na Jamaica e se mudou com sua família para a Grã-Bretanha com
sete anos de idade. Os outros membros da banda vieram de diferentes partes do Caribe e da África. Em 1975, sua conquista na Inglaterra trouxe a gravadora RCA Soul Search Contest
