Sir Elton Hercules John, (Reginald Kenneth Dwight, Grande Londres, 25 de março de 1947) é um premiado cantor, compositor e músico inglês. Nascido Reginald Kenneth Dwight em 25 de março de 1947, cresceu em Pinner em uma council house que pertencia a seus avós maternos. Quando Elton John começou a se interessar pela carreira musical, seu pai, antigo tenente da RAF, tentou o convencer a seguir uma carreira mais convencional. Os pais de Elton eram ambos músicos.
