Biografia:
Calvin Russell nació en Austin, Texas. Pero aunque su ciudad de nacimiento, su música e incluso su físico nos recuerden los paisajes del lejano oeste, Calvin siempre ha sido un artista maldito en su tierra, obteniendo mayor reconocimiento en Europa. Especialmente en un lugar tan diferente a Texas como puede ser Francia.
Su vinculación con Europa es incluso mayor si tenemos en cuenta que posee un negocio en Suiza, su esposa es de ese país y buena parte de sus discos fueron grabados en el Viejo Continente.
