Calibretto 13 was an acoustic punk band from Kokomo, Indiana, United States. The band existed in three incarnations. The first being Black Sheep, then Calibretto 13, and finally Calibretto. Calibretto 13 was inspired by a comic book, and 13 was the only number that they all liked. Later, they shortened it to just Calibretto. The acoustic punk style of the band and the peculiar vocal style of singer Joe Whiteford gives the band their signature sound.

Song: The Apple Song Artist: Calibretto 13 Album: Enter the Danger Brigade(Tooth & Nail, 2000) Tab By: Steve Cox ([email protected])
An actual acoustic song from this “acoustic punk” band. This is a nifty little song that I thought I’d share with everyone. Enjoy.
Intro: D(strum once)
Verse:(accapella w/ a really bad English accent)
If I were an apple, hanging on a tree, I’d give myself to the first green worm, And together we would be. He’d make a little hole and live inside of me, He would be my best friend, And he’d keep me company.
1,2,3,4
DG If I were an apple, hanging on a tree, D I’d give myself to the first green worm, A And together we would be. DG He’d make a little hole and live inside of me, D He would be my best friend, A And he’d keep me company. DG But I am not an apple, hanging on a tree. (No, No) DA I am nothing but an empty human being. DG But Jesus wants to come and live inside of me, DA And be my best friend, and keep me company.
Break: Whistling over the top of DGDA.
