Billy Talent é uma banda de rock canadense formada em 1993 em Mississauga, Ontario.A Banda é formada por Benjamin Kowalewicz (vocal), Ian D'Sa (guitarra/vocal), Jonathan Gallant (baixo/vocal), e Aaron Solowoniuk (bateria/percussão).
Mesmo que eles normalmente descrevam como tendo raizes punk rock, a banda reivindica que não têm nenhuma banda que têm a inspiração, eles não imitaram bandas populares naquele tempo. O som deles é original e único, algo diferente do que eles reconheceram quando eles começaram a tocar juntos.
