Biografia:
Originally the trio of Bardo Martinez, Eduardo Arenas and Gabriel Villa and now a quartet with Carlos Arévalo, Chicano Batman themselves as ethnomusicologists and say that they draw upon a broad range of 60s and 70s influences. Oliver Wang describes their music as "a mesh of Brazilian bossa nova and samba with spacey psychedelia with slow jam soul with surf rock cumbia."
